Can I leave the AA chair outside?
Yes , You can leave the black epoxy frame or 316L marine stainless-steel outside. Remove the cover and store it inside in rainy weather. It will last longer. We highly recommend Serge Ferrary Batyline covers for outdoor use. Cotton and linen are more fragile and require a minimum of care and attention.
We highly recommend using the 316 marine stainless-steel frame in salty environments and for use in public spaces (hotels, restaurants).
What are the dimensions of the AA structure?
Take the dimensions of your structure
and check with the dimensions by following this link:
The dimensions are taken without the cover on the structure. To within 1 cm, our cover will adapt to your model.
How to know if my frame is indeed an Airborne frame?
Between 1952 and 1970, the Airborne frames were made of one whole piece (without sleeves). The current AA covers perfectly fit these old frames.
To be on the safe side, take your frame dimensions and check them by following this link: The AA dimensions.
Since 1970, the AA frames are made up of several parts: 1 base, 2 wings and 4 sleeves.
Since 2011, each frame is engraved “AA followed by the year of fabrication” on the back of the base.
If you are in any doubt about the origin of your frame, just check its dimensions.
Do I have to create an account to buy on your website?
No, you do not and can skip this step.
I can't get my AA structure up. How to do?
Start by reading the assembly document provided in the box.
And follow the instructions by watching this video:
- Start by putting the two muffs on one ear.
- Identify the short part of the lug and position the sleeve on the rear base: push it in while turning slightly
- Position the other part of the ear (the largest) on the base,
put your foot on the base (as in the video) and move your ear slightly forward then push the sleeve on the base. If you notice a slight resistance, it is normal.
Do not hesitate to force a little by turning the sleeve and advancing the ear inwards.
So! do the same with the second ear
Then avoid dismantling your structure.
It's a bit tough but you'll get there!
