Le Mobilier National Français est l'héritier du Garde-Meuble de la Couronne, créé en 1604 par Henri IV et réorganisé en 1663 par Louis XIV. Cette institution pourvoit à l’ameublement des hauts lieux de la République et des différentes résidences présidentielles. Lorsqu'un meuble est choisi par le Mobilier National Français pour rentrer dans sa collection, il intègre un catalogue et fait ainsi la fierté de sa maison d'édition! Voici notre table AO dans un décor majestueux (le lieu doit rester confidentiel...)
LA TABLE AO
Au milieu des années 50, le bureau d'études d'Airborne et ses créateurs cherchent et développent des modèles destinés aux particuliers. Toute une collection est alors dessinée pour accompagner l'arrivée du fauteuil AA dans la société. Cette table basse en fait partie. Appelée à l'époque TL1 puis Jasmin et enfin AO, en verre ou en bois, elle est la seule rescapée de ses recherches. Aujourd'hui proposée en 4 versions différentes, elle est ici présentée avec un verre blanc et un socle en acier thermolaqué noir (entièrement fabriquée en France).
