ORLY AIRPORT

Did you know ?

On February 24, 1961, General de Gaulle inaugurated at Orly, the airport designed by Henri Vicariot: the event was considerable and commented on all over the world. The waiting and boarding lounges are equipped with the Samouraï armchair, specially designed by Airborne and Joseph-André Motte.

With a metal base and a leatherette or fabric seat, this seat can be arranged at will on the desired length, with or without an intermediate shelf.

Building on this visibility and its media coverage, Airborne is developing a design office and specialized subsidiaries such as Plan System.

Wow, that's a really cool design! Those chairs at Orly Airport look so unique. It’s neat to see how design connects across different areas – almost like a visual Hear Me Out Characters creation, don't you think?

Orly Airport has improved significantly in recent years—modern terminals, better signage, and smoother security. Still busy, but far less overwhelming than CDG. For quick image editing, check out bulk crop photos.

Orly Airport offers a solid alternative to Charles de Gaulle—closer to Paris, less chaotic, and with efficient public transport links via Orlyval. A good choice for domestic or European flights. For more travel guides, visit slay the spire 2 guides.

The inauguration of Orly Airport in 1961 and the Samouraï armchair design show how innovation and style can shape memorable spaces. That same sense of progress and creativity can be felt in Slope Rider 2, where smooth movement and momentum make every downhill run engaging and dynamic.
